Review: Castle/Trance of Scarcity
The Trance
of Scarcity
Victoria Castle
Castle begins her thought-provoking book with an intriguing quote: “If struggling was the way to get there, we’d all be there by now.” That sentence alone is enough to make me want to close the book and spend considerable time in deep reflection. However, it also makes me wonder, “What else is there?”—and Castle does not leave the reader unsatisfied.
Castle offers numerous techniques to battle the “trance of scarcity”—this downward loop into which we put ourselves, when really, there is so much abundance and so much for which to be grateful. We just get in our own way, and struggling only leads to more struggling. Castle offers us the opportunity to step inside the “Circle” and “upgrade” the stories that we tell ourselves. This is the “Law of Attraction” working from the inside out, and if we could all get there, we would be much happier indeed.
If you only make one New Year’s Resolution for 2009, this book could be transformational and life-lasting.
