Can’t Get Started on that Deadline?

How to conquer… Procrastination

“Procrastination is like a credit card; it’s a lot of fun, until you get the bill.” ~ Christopher Parker

We all do it. We all put off applying for that job until we lose 20 pounds. We don’t write that thank-you note right away or make that difficult phone call. At work, we are forever leaving report writing, presentations and memos until that last minute, working breathlessly to finish what we should have started yesterday. We go on last minute frantic searches looking for keys and passports and other important items before a vacation. We arrive at appointment minutes later instead of earlier. As a Life Coach, one thing I know for sure is that most people are stuck around this 15-letter word called procrastination. And as Alice P. Cornyn-Selby says, “Procrastination is, hands down, our favourite form of self-sabotage.”

Make. Work. Better.
