The next time you whip out that company plastic, remember there may be an extra pairs of eyes peaking over your shoulder to see just what you’re using it for.

The use of a company credit card has long been a staple in corporate Canada for employees to go about their business of, well, doing business on behalf of the company. Employee use of company credit cards can go a long way in streamlining operations, and offers many advantages such as supporting employee travel due to sales calls, technical support to customers, professional conferences and training. In the wrong hands, though, it can also become a costly company expense.
