Contract Employment: Is it for You?

Each individual manages their own life with more immediacy than is apparent in permanent, full-time employment. This is challenging to everyone but can be invigorating for those who successfully respond to the challenge.

Contract employment is here to stay. It is a part of the variety of employment conditions and provides flexibility for both the employer and the contracted employee. It has many positive characteristics for the individual yet requires careful planning to address some of the drawbacks.  Contract employment is a useful, healthy response to the changes that affect the employment circumstance that characterize today’s workplace.
