Wisdom: Spiritual Values and the Healthy Workplace Part II

In the last issue, I wrote about a 1999 article in the Journal of Organizational Change Management that suggests a model for healthy organizations based on the world’s great spiritual traditions.

The authors, both professors in business schools, began with a survey of our major western and eastern religious traditions, distilling a core set of values which they believe are an essential recipe for truly healthy, sustainable organizations. They argue that each of the enduring world religious traditions–having stood the test of time–contains a set of values that remain relevant for 21st century organizations.
