The NFL football conference finals provided background noise a while back when I was ruminating on the theme of leadership. That probably tells you something about my conflicting priorities, or at least my tendency to procrastinate on important deadlines when diversions are readily available. The editor knows all about that aspect of my personal style, but luckily he’s a tolerant and hopeful fellow.
