Employee Satisfaction and Organizational Outcomes are Linked

Why you need to recognize and appreciate your employees – today

People want to be recognized for their work. And it isn’t more money that results in employees performing at a high level in their day-to-day job – it is effective recognition and the feeling of being valued that pushes employees to be more productive, engaged and loyal.

Gallup Management completed a study in 2006 of American employees and found that 59% were not engaged in their work. Northwestern University, Illinois conducted a study that found direct links between employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and financial performance.

Employee satisfaction is the key. And when this key is lost or broken, the organizational outcomes will suffer.
