We all know water is as essential to life as breathing air. It helps us digest food, replenishes the fluids we lose through breathing, sweating and other bodily functions and helps keep away headaches and sluggishness. With so much variety in water product on the market, is there an optimal choice we should make for health and well being?

First, we are inundated with information on how much water is enough, whether we should drink it hot or cold, and what is the safest vessel to find our water in. For every study or claim on one side there are as many against. Some doctors tell us that drinking hot water aids digestion while others state that drinking cold water causes you to burn more calories. Most studies advise that we should drink eight glasses of water per day, now many say we simply need about nine cups of fluid per day to replenish loss.
