Google believes that there really is such a thing as a free lunch. “We at Google Canada have found that giving people what they feel they need to work best really pays off in the long run.” Having fresh coffee provided for workers could be just the thing to start the day right for many employees. Niagara-based Chimpanzee, a small creative communications company that received the Your Workplace 2010 Thrive Award, provides coffee, along with an assortment of hot and cold beverages for their employees at no cost to the staff. These companies believe their employees benefit from such “perks”.
