Why would a global company want to renovate their high-rise building to support occupant health and wellbeing? The WELL Building Standard is a new building certification system focused on improving wellness. TD bank launched a pilot project in Toronto implementing this standard. This talk will outline the WELL features and highlight those that specifically support greater engagement and well-being among building occupants. A presentation of the data and feedback on the pilot will demonstrate how to build a successful business case for future projects in pursuit of enhanced health and wellness programs.
