Different Generations: A clash of values or differences in styles?

There is little argument that different experiences influence each generation, however, popular media and many generation gurus may have taken these differences too far in describing them as a clash of values. A study by the Center for Public Opinion Research compared fundamental beliefs and values across four generations and found minimal differences.

This is not to discount the frustration felt by each generation today. Perhaps the frustration is more about style differences than core value differences.
