Do’s and Don’t’s of Workplace Parties

If you are attending your workplace  party this year: Don’t Drink and Drive. If you are planning the workplace party: Don’t Let Them. Not only could your valued employees cause serious damage to themselves and others, but you could be responsible.

Those of us old enough to remember can recall the all-out open bar office parties of the past, which loosened the ties, and libidos of all of the staff from the mail room clerk to the executive vice-president. Somebody usually had a little too much and said much too much to all the wrong people. We may not need to remind you but times have changed and the motto of this year’s holiday season has changed as well; to eat, drink, be merry and be careful. Be very, very careful.
