Surprise lunch

Todd Nadeau, director of consulting at People First HR Services, notes how a surprise pizza lunch can do wonders for work culture, especially when after-hour drinks sessions can be tough for working parents. “If my company suddenly has a pizza lunch, and I don’t have to stress about picking up my kids, with all the other things on my mind around the holidays that’s great for everyone,” Nadeau says.
