“People time” is too valuable to quantify
I have been having the best time. Surprisingly what I am doing is not unusual at all — I’m just talking to people.
Some time ago I volunteered for the task of finding panellists for our conference program “The Changing Workplace” in April. My goal was 20 experts, or rather 20 people who had an interesting story to tell in sessions featuring experts from Canadian organizations. I allocated one week — five days to find and interview professionals, which equated to four people a day or selecting one professional every two hours. More than enough time, I thought.
